The Good, the Bad, and The Sackboy…Episode 3

by wexfordian

The opening is jaw-dropping and the plot twist is a creative way of setting up a completely different environment from the previous levels. This level is the shortest of the trilogy, but it might be the hardest level to ace for some players. The fast-moving hazards will bring certain death unless you can anticipate their paths and visualize your jumps.

Some of the levers that you need to pull are hard to distinguish from their surroundings. I also wish that the sliding doors would open wider because currently your Sackperson moves through parts of them. This poor collision-detection might not be the creator’s faultl, but it diminishes the polish of the level and the game. The grammatical and spelling errors in this level are too basic and numerous to overlook as well.

Still, the robotic arms and other machinery are detailed and the level overall is a worthy conclusion to the trilogy. Congratulations to wexfodian for receiving the 2009 Sackademy Award for Best Use of Story in a Level.
