This level wouldn’t be as interesting without its background visuals. The warm palette, various silhouettes, and independent scrolling of the background layers can distract you in a good way. The level reminds me of the Earthworm Jim games in this sense. I think the creator is exploiting a glitch for background layers; if that’s the case, then I hope the glitch is here to stay.
Progressing through the level involves some trial and error, but it’s not frustratingly difficult. The level is longer than I had expected and very challenging to ace; I haven’t aced it yet.
I like how the creator awards prize bubbles at the end based on achievements during the level. Some prizes are given for skill and others are given for misfortune; this distribution encourages replay because you can’t get all prizes in a single attempt.
